She may be a new name on the scene, but Rosalind Orr is establishing herself as an instrumentalist and an improviser of quality. She has studied under fellow saxophonists Tommy Smith and Laura Macdonald, and is heavily influenced by players like Cannonball Adderley and Kenny Garrett. Rosalind will be accompanied by Liam O’Neil on trumpet, Alex Handyside on guitar, Chris Quinn on bass and Finlay Porras on drums – don’t miss her EJBF debut.
