The ENU Jazz Summer School
Hosted by Edinburgh Napier University Music Department and in association with the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, the emphasis will, as always, be on understanding through a hands–on approach to the music, culminating in a final concert at a festival venue on the afternoon of Friday 20th July 2018.

Comments from previous students
"Educational, exhilarating, challenging, inspiring, exhausting, exciting and terrifying in equal measure. I’ve never had a more enjoyable week!”
"As an adult learner with multiple sensory impairments my time at the summer school meant the world to me. I didn't have such a great time with formal music education in my youth but, you know, better late than never. I'm well into the whole Scandinavian approach to Jazz Education. I'll be back this year for sure.”
"I thoroughly enjoyed this school. A purposeful yet relaxed vibe. Highly skilled tutors who give lots of space to develop your own ideas. The final concert was one of my favourite gigs ever! Booked again for this year."
