Spiegeltent, George Square

Spiegeltent, George Square image

A festival favourite, the Spiegeltent in Assembly Gardens, George Square is the ultimate cabaret and music salon with a central seating area circled by wooden booths. The gardens are also home to the Piccolo Spiegeltent and has refreshment stands and picnic seating ideal for the break in-between shows!

Edinburgh is a cycle-friendly city. At peak times, cyclists can share the buses' green lanes and many junctions have advance cycle stop lines. Racks are available on George Square to park your bike.

A number of buses go via the city centre and stop on Potterrow or Nicholson Street. Single and day tickets are available. Lothian Buses’ family DAYticket allows two adults and up to three children unlimited travel together on day services. Visit the Lothian Buses website for further information.

The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley. George Square is a 30 minute walk away.

Many of our venues in and around the city centre are easily accessible on foot and by public transport so please consider the environment when planning your travel to and from our events. Public transport information is available from Traveline Scotland - and 0871 200 22 33 - 24 hours a day.
