If you’ve ever wanted to try on a Carnival costume learn samba dancing, then the Edinburgh Festival Carnival invites you to join us at Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Saturday 23rd June between 4 and 7pm. Carnivals are all about dressing up and we invite you to dress to impress with some extravagant Carnival costumes: headdresses, headpieces, wings, feathers and sequins.

Two of Scotland’s leading blues bands have been added to the programme for the 40th Anniversary Blues Gala concert at the Assembly Hall on July 20. The Jensen Interceptors, fronted by ace vocalist and harmonica king, Gary Martin, and featuring leading guitarist, John Bruce will play a short set and then be joined by ex-Whitesnake blues-rock guitar hero, Bernie Marsden.
