Making his Edinburgh debut, Stephen Hull is one of the rising stars on the American blues scene. The Wisconsin guitarist and vocalist takes cues from Albert King and B.B. King with his sweet, soulful guitar sound. Balance that with his stellar lead vocals and infectiously buoyant personality and you’ve got the Stephen Hull Experience!
Liz Jones mixes blues, Americana, folk and roots music, providing the perfect backdrop for her powerful smoky vocals and compelling guitar. Her band, Broken Windows, will be joined by Glasgow blues guitar star Al Brown for this special set.
Opening the afternoon, Sandy Tweeddale’s band is joined by Gus Munro. Both these guitarists and singers are inspired by the sophisticated slide styles of Derek Trucks and the Allman Brothers.
