Stellar American drummer Jim Black has assembled a specially selected sextet of young European players, including Scotland’s David Bowden. After a week rehearsing in Estonia they are now touring across Europe.
Jim Black is one of the most influential jazz drummers of our time. Veering from chaos to catchy compositions he draws on jazz, rock song-craft and laptop soundscapes delivered with furious energy.
The band also features Aleksander Paal (alto sax, Estonia), Ananta Roosens (violin, trumpet, Belgium,) Sanne Rambags (vocals, The Netherlands), Chris Guilfoyle (guitar, Ireland) and Michel Meis (drums, Luxemburg).
