Edinburgh’s Princes Street gardens is transformed with a kaleidoscope of colour, sound, and movement, as the Carnival brings together local and international artists for an awe-inspiring display of costumes, dance, music - the perfect FREE day out for all ages. Over 800 performers will take to Edinburgh’s City centre with a celebration of music, dance, costumes, puppets, circus and acrobatics. This year’s parade features community groups from across Edinburgh, alongside KalentuRa Drums from the Netherlands, The Burntisland & District Pipe Band and many more!
The festivities continue with performances at Ross Bandstand and throughout Princes Street Gardens - from an extended samba explosion to Chinese dancers and dragons. The afternoon culminates with a musical showcase by the The Caribbean Music Festival: Windrush 75.
