Started in January 2019, Edinburgh Jazz School brings Scotland’s leading young jazz musician Fergus McCredie and his band of high quality tutors to offer accessible and affordable jazz education to all comers.

We especially welcome young people, who have at least a basic command of their instrument; the course is here to help improve your playing and have a lot of fun in the company of some of the best young jazz musicians in Scotland.

Joined by Joe Williamson (Animal Society, Graham Costello’s STRATA) and David Bowden (Mezcla, Square One) classes focus on small group performance, and developing musical skills in harmony, rhythm and improvisation.

Guest tutors have included Matt Carmichael, Stuart Brown, Graham Costello & Mark Hendry, all leading musicians in the Scottish scene.

Open to all ages, with discounts and scholarships available to students and U18’s looking to learn and progress in Jazz.

For more info and to register your interest in our next term - starting January 2020, please fill out this form or email John@adjazz.co.uk
