Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival continues its new annual winter Blues Festival – dedicated to the best of the Scottish Blues scene. Each year we’re going to ask leading blues musicians to select a programme. Last year was Scotland’s champion of classic blues, Richard O’Donnell.
This year, the programme has been curated by three outstanding artists from the Scottish scene: Jed Potts, Nicole Smit & Sandy Tweeddale – who've brought together Scotland’s finest blues musicians, presenting a weekend packed with brilliant music, including new concepts and old favourites.
Kicking off with John Bruce’s Safehouse on Thursday night in Leith, the weekend includes two of EJBF’s popular afternoon triple bills as well as brand new headline shows and acts from across Scotland.
5 days, 16 acts, one Scottish Blues Weekend.
The Scottish Blues Weekend is supported by the PLACE programme, funded by the Scottish Government and City of Edinburgh Council
