Over one hundred drummers of all ages come together to open our carnival festival in Princes Street Gardens, with percussionists from Pulse of The Place (Edinburgh) Gwanaval (Martinique) Samba Resille (France) Bombrando (Portugal) and KalentuRa (The Netherlands). This performance will be led by Dana Monteiro from Harlem Samba and our emerging artists Ivone and Carla from Banda Dida, Brazil and Chloe and Adrianna from Harlem Samba, USA.

Latina Turners

Latina Turners is a band made by Afro-Cuban music lovers in a quest to bring this amazing style back to Edinburgh's live music scene, showcasing music from Los Van Van, Poncho Sánchez, Cuban All-Stars, Joe Arroyo, Buenavista Social Club and many more. Expect nothing but the best fiesta and dancing with Mucho Sabor in all their concerts.
